Charlotte Isnor - Bio
Charlotte Isnor has been competing in agility for over 10 years, mostly in the Ottawa area where she trained and worked with Tiffany Salmon. Before moving to the Moncton area, Charlotte was an active member of the Ottawa Valley Border Collie Club (OVBCC) for 11 years and was their agility instructor for over 5 years. Charlotte was also the captain of the OVBCC Flyball Team.
Charlotte is enjoying living in Moncton where she was pleasantly surprised to see how active agility and flyball are in this area. She arrived just in time to compete in the NB-PEI Regionals this year where she placed 1st in the 22 inch regular class with her BC Harper and 1st in the 16 inch Specials class with her 11 year old BC, Missy.
Charlotte is very enthusiastic about agility and that enthusiasm is evident to her agility students. She is committed to providing the dogs and handlers in her classes with a sound foundation in the sport while making it fun for both dogs and handlers.
"I take my classes seriously but for me that also means making it lots fun because if dogs and handlers aren't enjoying it, then what is the point?" Charlotte explains. "We know that people and dogs learn faster and progress faster when they are having fun... so I strive to create a team that loves to work together, has fun, but is also given a strong foundation in the sport. Proper training from the beginning will not only mean success for the team but it will also forge a strong bond between dog and handler. Agility is one of the best ways to connect with your dog, and your dog will love you even more for it."
Besides Missy and Harper, Charlotte is now the proud mama of a Border Collie pup, Bliss, who recently joined the Isnor household. |
